So by now you're probably wondering what this Regrets flick is all about. Well, it's about a guy who wakes up somewhere he shouldn't. It's also about a few thousand dollars over budget right now, and we haven't even started casting.OK, lets back up. A few months ago, Michelle Pollino and Paul Fitzgerald got together over a couple of beers and started talking about making a movie, and before long we enlisted friends Kelly Burkhardt, Brian Gannon and Jerry Palovick as equal partners. We knew we could only afford to do a short, and we wanted something with a gay male theme, so we placed some ads looking for screenplays. Regrets, by screenwriter Rob Williams, was an immediate attention grabber; tense and creepy, the kind of story that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up. We knew we had to make this film...now we just need to finance it!
Oh, we won't make a blatant, discomforting plea for your money. Yet. We've already made half our budget with an October fundraiser, and we're planning a second one for this December!
